According to Führmann and Schmidbauer (2011), communication goals can be divided into three categories.
Perception goals are achieved if the flow of information and communication in the company is organized optimally at the individual and the organization levels. Adequate tools include intranets with a news ticker (microblogging), newsletters, magazines for staff members and circular letters. Attitude goals are achieved by influencing staff members’ attitude toward their work positively. Proven tools include those that facilitate direct and personal dialog, for example, one-to-one or team meetings as well as blogs, forums or communities. Behavior goals are achieved by encouraging staff members to participate actively in an exchange of knowledge and opinions and offering them a [reasonable number of opportunities to connect and share, including cross-team or cross-division workshops, methods for large groups or social media applications.] Führmann, U.; Schmidbauer, K. The true source is not given. Führmann and Schmidbauer 2011 is given as the source for this fragment in line 30 on this page. The discussion in that source is much more extensive and does not include aspects such as "microblogging". |
